SUMMARY

The Inside Sales Account Executive will be responsible for driving new business for COOP by Ryder, the sharing platform for commercial vehicles in their assigned territory.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Prospecting for new business over the phone to a defined group of prospects to generate new customers for COOP by Ryder

Manage a book of business to generate repeat business from existing COOP customers through phone and email engagements

Generation activity to highlight key areas of interest. Setup follow-up activities to keep prospects engaged

Load all customer interactions into CRM and setup proper follow-up activities for optimum account conversion

Guide interested prospects through a platform demo. Use customer knowledge gained through lead

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree Sales/Marketing/Transportation.

EXPERIENCE

Three (3) years or more experience in commercial vehicle or car rental sales

Two (2) years or more experience in a business development position

SKILLS

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to build strong customer relationships.

Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).

Highly thorough and dependable.

Maintains a high degree of professionalism.

Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.

High energy, self-directed, self motivated and able to work as part of a team as well

KNOWLEDGE

Full working knowledge of Ryder procedures (i.e. credit, payment terms, insurance

coverage, etc.); intermediate level; preferred.
